I am in front of the english school where I teach once a week.

I was asked by an English Institute, which is only 10 steps away from our front door, to moderate a small group of teenagers who are at conversational level of English. So of course I accepted because its just another way to meet new people, and it turns out I really enjoy it. (I do this for one hour on Thursday evenings).  These high school students speak well and are interested to learn about the United States!  This is a picture of me in front of the institute.

Glad you found another fun way to practice your Spanish, along with knowing you are doing something good for these students. Also I am sure you are learning about a part of the life there that you might not have touch on if not for the opportunity to teach English to this class. Have fun with it.

I just returned to work and got your email with this website address. I am reading all past entries and I am smiling ear to ear for you! You look terrific as usual. I just watched a movie last night, "The Art of Travel" and I immediately wanted to be you. I spoke to Martha and she wants to confirm our travels to Columbia for the weeks of December 20th thru January 3rd. I am still on board for Cartajana (spelling?) are you? I will write again. Can't wait to see you...happy trails, love Jennie
