What inspired our subject matter of me learning how to salsa was that it represents culture, adventure, and a new york experience. Nic and I both studied filmmaking in university and met working on a television show in New York. While Nic works full time at a production company and his own independent film projects, I split my time freelance writing and traveling to wherever I can to experience new cultures. We both love traveling! Traveling inspires my writing, and is constantly teaching me more things about myself and ways to share others stories. Nic and I are a great team because we work well together and share the ambition of improving our crafts as filmmakers and storytellers with others around the world. I have traveled alone to over 10 countries, writing my adventures and experiences along the way in hopes of attaining my dream of becoming a full time travel writer, filmmaker and presenter. Nic studied abroad in Europe in college, and aspires to be a filmmaker. This opportunity would mean everything we've been working towards, a way to improve our craft with a seasoned mentor, and work collaboratively together to share stories with a larger scale audience.
