Its not a thingie, but a Idol of a Hindu Goddess. Not sure since Photo is a side shot, but looks like Goddess Chamundeshwari.

This is teh temple atthe top of the hill overlooking Mysore. Inside you can get a blessing for 10 rupees. Although it overlooks the city I didn't find the view that good so no photo

This temple is off a busy shopping street. I loved seeing the cow having a rest in the shade
