Lessons from Nature

My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Worldwide | Monday, November 7, 2011 | 5 photos

I cannot afford a professional camera, I don’t have any training in photography, but my eyes and patience will capture the image that will melt one’s heart. I am willing to learn and commit. Being an extremely positive and free-spirited person, I will fit into any situation.

Currently I have quit my job to travel. These photos were my discovery about life. I cannot help but be captivated by the beauty of the world and I have learnt much. I wish to share my story to everyone.

While I am trekking I observed everything around me, however, others tend to be too caught up to notice them, yet nature captures their reflection. We cannot take nature for granted.

It was a triumphant moment when I was able to seep coffee by the mountains because I made a choice.

Solo backpacking is tough, when I meet with difficulties I looked the plants growing in barren land, still striving healthily. I know I must be strong and prevail on.

I made many wonderful friends even though we came from different background. I realized we all share a common thing call LOVE, which is often lost when we became adults.

I cannot travel endlessly but I want to turn this to reality. My last days of travel, I saw a rainbow it’s a signal to tell me to search for my pot of gold. I found the scholarship.

To James, I am another student he is mentoring. To me, he is teaching me how to survive. I need this more than anyone as its going head start an incredible career as a travel photographer.

I sincerely feel that I can be that unpolished diamond that James is going to polish brilliantly.
