I have been planning this trip for over a year but right now it feels like it has come around all too sudden.
I've mixed feelings this morning. On one hand, I'm nervous, apprehensive and slightly sad - the last week or so has been spent saying farewell to family, friends and colleagues and its not been easy. But as I sit here in Terminal 1 of Dublin airport, ready to board my first of 4 flights over the next 30hrs (really what was I thinking?!), I'm reminded of what Grogan said to me yesterday, "nerves are natural but in a few days it will all make sense!". Quickly, the nerves and apprehension turn to excitment and I can wait to get there.
On a different note, I tried my new camera for the first time last night and, although my photograhpy knowlege is far from professional, I think the quality of the camera is top notch - thank you mom and dad.
