My Scholarship entry - IMAGEN

Photography is my life, I was going nowhere before I found this passion. It has become who I am and where I'm going next. I don't search for fame or success, I just want to do what I do best.
My father is an archeologist, so when I was a teenager I was involved in field research and in a deep contact with other cultures. Since then, I had been pursuing these encounters with people that share the world with me although they own a different perspective in life and reality. My old man has a collection of National Geographic magazine that goes on till today since the 70's, so I grew up looking at these pictures. As a colateral, I started seeing the world bigger than my little home town. That was the strongest reason for me to get out of that place and then start to do photography with the dream of traveling around the world. I've been taking images since 2009.
I should be chosen because I think that Visual Anthropology is the image of the future, there ir a global and historical need for us to register cultural expressions that soon will be lost and forgotten in globalization. But mostly because I have Hearth, Will and Dreams and I will not stop until I have conquered them.
