This set is from my lastest expedition to buzzing small town well known for its spicy hot non-veg food, wrestlers, ancient history and as a scenic location, Kolhapur, India. It is situated on banks of river Panchganga. It was on short, a bit unexpected trip. Fortunately, i was lucky enough that i mate enthusiastic person, my friends Uncle, who accompanied me. He took me to exclusive, privilege spaces and places in Kolhapur.

The brown river, at full flow, just after monsoon and beautiful clouds on blue sky, made a Perfect Storybook picture.

We enjoyed our dinner at one of the best Kolhapuri non-veg food at Daulat Mess, in heart of town. The thali (Food Plate) Pic. Our driver was caught completely unaware what he was getting into, soon he had tears from his eyes and nose. :-) So we agreed to treat with icecream at local chain of parlor.

Unique thing i notice, the names of local young groups/clubs like ??????? ????? ???? (literally "Latest Friends Group"), then "Suspense Group", hilarious and adventures too.

On my excursions, i came across beautiful beast, the 1980's made, chrome yellow, New Holland tractor, massive and cute fella still running. That’s best @ India, we use things responsibly and don’t junk them, pretty sustainable.;-).

Finally the canopy on banyan trees, as i travel through countryside. I love trees. These beauties are fast vanishing as Indian roads are widening, quite sad.

About me, Girish. No need to say, i like to travel. Every one wonders when they get to know that i am never without my camera. I love watching people in their environment, a curios bend, being an trained Industrial designer. Tight portraits of objects is my style. To sum up, i have small dream from my childhood, to be the one who has stepped on every road in this world. :-)
