My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Romania | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 3 photos

My passion for photography started with my love for cameras . Maybe because I grew in the early 90’s when cameras were a luxury in a post-communist country like mine. Just years later, I got my first camera and I could say that in time started to define who I was. I changed a lot over the time, my studies, my country, but one of the few things I haven’t changed was photography. It’s a very personal connection between me, my camera and our work combined that I like to believe I can call photography. In this relation, I’m my best and worst critique and I always imagine I could have gotten a better shot, but I guess that’s the success key is to always improve and learn or relearn. Speaking about my other passions, they’re strongly connected with my work: sustainable travel, nature protection, history and culture. Why you should choose me? Because I would like to take photography beyond the personal level and because I think this is only possible by learning from real field work, but mostly from a professional photographer. This would help me immensely in my work of promoting my home country and getting more tourists to the less developed areas that could benefit from extra income.
