My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hi

I know when I seen this competition it was said on the website, don't leave it till the last minute to enter.... well, I kinda failed on that part!!

I am 32 years old and have been interested in taking photo's for as long as I remember, I'd not say I have been interested in photography all that time - that is more a recent thing as I have tried to improve upon my photo taking (I know now these photo's were taken with a poor camera, but I believe it is more important to have a good eye as it were)

I have thought for a while now, the last couple of years, that to be a travel photographer would be my ideal job, I can think of nothing that interests me or excites my imagination as much as taking photo's, I try to everywhere I go and am annoyed with myself when I see a great picture and am not able to capture it.

I would so much relish the opportunity to be mentored by Jason and learn so much as I'm sure I would!

I think of myself as far away from being a good photographer, I see photo's and ideas everywhere, but capturing them is the hard part! I guess that what the learning experience is all about, and I would be so grateful to have that chance.

Hope you can see some potential in my photo's...
(I just wish i had only 1 more I could upload! From thinking I had no photo's at all good enough, I then foung too many! I narrowed it down, but only to 6! Fate chose the final 5, let's hope it was good to me!)
