My name is Dev. I have been more of a traveler than photographer for most of my life. During one of my trips where I borrowed a DSLR, I had taken a photograph of Ponte Vecchio just after the rains in an afternoon. It was a moment that I can still recollect today when I look at the photo. This trip had boosted my interest in photography realizing that it was a joy to share experiences with people through your photos.

Over the last couple of years, the planning process for the trips have become more extensive and detailed as to take unique photographs the timing of the day and year are important. Preparing a good and detailed itinerary is very important to get good photographs and it’s a challenge to stick to it at times when you are sleep deprived and tired. I have gone through this experience numerous times in the last couple of years that makes me a good fit for this trip.

Last year, I visit Sikkim and I couldn’t travel to the Nathu La Pass as the roads were blocked because of landslides. I have never seen snow in my life and Greenland trip provides me an opportunity to go through this experience under the guidance of a professional photographer.
