Det and Rut in India and Nepal Our travel experience ...

2nd and 3rd day Delhi

Fist of all thanks to all of you for the messages you’ve sent, I was very happy to hear from all of you!! I like the idea of making a blog, it’s really nice to be able to communicate with everyone.
We’ve been in Delhi now for three days and I must say that the experience is becoming better every day: at the beginning there were too many things happening for me to be able to actually look around. The chaos in the streets is amazing, cars, rickshaws and scooters are constantly honking without any apparent reason; vendors are trying to attract your attention at all times. We’ve started to learn how to deal with the people who try to get you to their travel agencies etc. The keyword is: IGNORE. I found it hard, especially in the beginning but I haven’t found any other way to deal with this.
Today we’ve done a lot of walking through Delhi and we’ve seen many interesting things: we went to the biggest musk of India (see pictures) and have walked many kilometers.
Good news: after visiting several shops, we’ve finally managed to find a GUITAR!!! ;-)))

Tomorrow we're going to Jaipur in the early morning. This is the capital of the state Rajasthan. Probably I'll update the blog in a couple of days if can find a place with a good connection to the web.

Hjirre groeit op 't heden neat (it sil fannacht 7 graden frieze, moarntenacht ek, mar winter: ho mar). Sûnder dat jimme my dêr om frege hawwe, wit ik ek al in kadootsje foar 11 april: in moai âld cricket book, written by an English specialist some hundred years ago!
Oant oare kear!

Leave Detmar en Rut!
Hoe liket it yn Jaipur? In stik better as Dehli, tink?
Hjir giet it goed! Hidde hat fannemiddei syn B-diploma helle, dat gong sa bêst as wat! Fierder net in soad nijs. It wie prachtig moai waar ek noch, dat wy hawwe in leuke dei hawn mei in protte wille!
Groetjes, Hidde".
