A true adventure under the ground

After five days in Budapest, exploring everywhere and thing I could, I was still hungry for a true adventure Budapest could offer so I asked around and was recommended to visit the Budapest cave. Hungry for something out of the ordinary I went for it, a tunnel about twenty kilometers long with spaces that you need to force your body through.
Dark and narrow as it was, I had made my choice that if others could go through so can I. As we went through the cave from one narrow space to another squeezing ourselves through the stones inside the caves my fear started to increase because the cave was a natural one, not one built by engineers with absolute safety majors, I started to think that I must have made a bad choice by getting inside in the first place. After a while I asked the guild if we were getting closer to the exit of the cave and he said yes.
After a while there was still no sign of exist so I asked again how close we were to the exit, then he said we were half way but we will come out soon. I was both discourage and terrified, the first thought that struck me was to go back the way I came, but I said to myself that would be foolish. While I was talking in my head, it was my turn to squeeze myself through another hole again, being filled with fear and hoping that I come out alive, I went forward and by the time I was half way in between the stones I got stocked and quickly I said to myself this is it, the moment I was trying to avoid. The instructor told me to pull myself slowly and the others who had passed before me assisted in pulling me gently and before I knew I was through, it was a terrifying moment but after several parts we soon came out of the cave, I was very happy to have come out alive but as crazy as I was, I decided to go again and that this time I will rule out fear from my mind knowing that some spots may seem hard to pass but eventually I will go through and my memories of Hungary would be a proud one and not of disappointment and regret so I did and this time, the distance seemed way shorter than the first and I managed better, after completing the second underground trip I was proud of myself, I was happy to have conquered my fear and I was a better man.
If you happen to be adventurous and find yourself in Budapest you should visit the caves but without fear, it’s OK, it’s alright, you will come out alive, eliminate all fear and just enjoy the underground adventure. You can get it right the first time and be happy you tried it.
