The summer of 2014 I realized my journey in Washington DC was over. My motivation to move upward in a company bound to fight that momentum finally took its toll. In this mindset I decided to take a trip home for my fathers 60th birthday in August. I did not know before I took this trip the foundation of my exit would be laid/confirmed.
