My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

“If your photographs aren't good enough, you're not close enough." Robert Capa During the last couple of years I have tried many different things: I used to be project manager, tourist guide, athlete, event organizer, adventurer, marketing manager, business consultant and project chief coordinator of an international congress for 1000 people for 5 days, coordinating 150 volunteers and a 12-people team. I love cycling, basketball and photography. Though I tried many things so far, I’m still looking now for a new one, for a new inspiration. I’m not sure yet what it will be, but I’m sure that it should be something I like, something big, something new and original, and something that creates value. I’m ready to work 36 hours in a day, if it is great and useful. Maybe I will find this in photography. I studied Economics and Communication at Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. In 2010 I lived in Slovenia working on my thesis, which was a photo report about the city of Koper. I’m Marton Demeter (25) from Hungary and I’m nominating my gallery about Koper/Slovenia for the travel photography scholarship. “It's not enough to have talent, you also have to be Hungarian.” Robert Capa
