My Scholarship entry - Through Local Eyes

WORLDWIDE | Monday, 15 October 2012 | Views [166] | Scholarship Entry

We chose a day in the forest of Chapultepec because it is a must for the inhabitants of Mexico City but very few domestic and foreign tourists know.

Face painting back to an ancient Mexican tradition where the festivities or rituals of any kind required ornamentation, currently has a playful but goal rooted among its residents.

Our experience as filmmakers academic training has been broadly Deborah specializes in editing while Andrea specializes in documentary, we have worked together on three projects so far short films and three documentaries, one of which was selected to occur at a rally film in 100 hours under the 7th International Documentary Festival of Mexico City.

Our ambition is to be a documentary fimmakers and to discover and bring to the screen great stories, places and people not only in our country Mexico but worldwide. That is why we decided to enter the call because it is a unique opportunity to do what we love in a new place and learn from those who are in the place we aspire to be in a short time.
