The Supreme Court of India has ordered immediate ban on washing, draining industrial effluents and banning all other practices which pollute the waters of Yamuna. But other than Delhi locality, nothing has been done yet. Perhaps after another decade, Yamuna the river mentioned in the folklore of Lord Krishna, would not be there, only the stories will remain.
