Well, I was chagrined to see that I had predicted before our fall trip to England and South Africa that I would be blogging, and only ended up with the very first entry. Maybe this time will be different, as the pace of travel sounds like it will be much easier. And if I can I will do some reminiscing about the last year's travel as well.
Our trip of just over 3 weeks breaks into 3 phases, the first in and around Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh City, including an overnight excursion to Cat Tien National Park; our tour with Grasshopper Adventures of a 10-day bicycling ride along the central coast of Viet Nam from Qui Nhon to Hue; and then a final week with some time in Hanoi and a personal birding tour to Cuc Phuong National Park and the northern hill country around Sapa.
We'll see if I can do better on the reportage this time around....
