39 year old fella living in Melbourne Australia with my beautiful wife and two daughters, 'hi', I'm Shane and im a little obsessed with photography.
As a young boy i was forever camera in hand, i never new that i was developing a photographic passion.
Three years ago i finally bought my first DSLR, this would be my defining point. I soon upgraded my gear and defect from Nikon to Canon, since then i have been absorbing all information.

I'm employed full time, though my income is not a direct result of my photography, im very keen for photography to be full time. Evenings and weekends are my chance to lose myself with the camera, though my family do also deserve my time. Balance and time management are paramount in my life as i could go AWOL with my gear.
National Geographic, wether it be through shop front stores or documentaries has always amazed me with truly breathtaking stories. The oppertunity to be mentored by a NatGeo Veteran Photographer would be humbling at the very least. Mmmm, to have a foot in the door, yes Please. I'm quietly excited. This oppertunity is totally life changing and should be embraced with both hands, when not holding a camera.
