    Store owners and vendors close shop as night falls on Murree and reveals small inns sitting atop restaurants and a less congested street. Though there is a large influx of tourism Murree has yet to see major development. by: daryaaft Views[652] This young girl approached and asked me to buy some bubblegum. I said I would, if she would let me take her picture. After some persuading she reluctantly agreed and I handed her a few rupees. She left with both her bubblegum and the rupees. Young faces like hers are not an uncommon sight in Murree. by: daryaaft Views[455] Two specialties of street vendors in Murree are coffee and Kashmiri Chai. The vendor prepares a hot coffee in front of outdated and somewhat dangerous equipment. Despite these conditions his business does well. by: daryaaft Views[519] At an altitude of roughly 7000 feet, the sun sets on the southern slopes of the Western Himalayan foothills. Murree is a popular tourist destination for Pakistanis, most notably because of its snowy winters. by: daryaaft Views[331]
