    Firenze is a wonderufl city filled with a buzzing vibe and art for miles. But it wasn't until I stepped into an alley by the Uffizi to eat my gelato that I saw this run down bike amidst familiar surroundings and thought, Masses crowded in the rain across the street. I suppose they were interested in the Colosseo and it's histories. But nobody noticed this man beyond throwing a cent his way. I asked him if I could photograph him, saying I found his portrait beautiful. With a genuine, worn smile he nodded and posed. by: daniellerene Views[249] Statues line Roma no matter where you go. Many get assaulted by beeping cameras and flashing tourists. Sometimes I wonder what's happened to their souls. So for this young man who was passed by without notice, I asked his permission to capture what time had done to him. by: daniellerene Views[257] No, it's not the leaning tower of Pisa. Though I admit that's what most people find when they visit this small city. Not I, though. I opened a creaking old door weighing twice as much as I, to have this old, dark stairwell beckon out to me. Tempt me with what may lay around the bend. by: daniellerene Views[274] In Sienna, Toscana there are winding alleys that lead you throughout the city. Most tourists stick to the main roads, but as I wandered down an alley and sat upon old stone, I marvelled at what they were missing.
