My name is Danielle Meyer and I have always had a strong connection to the creative arts. Dabbling in dance, piano, cello and painting, I finally found my true calling when asked to take candid shots of an event happening at my marketing job. Capturing the expressions, emotions and environment of the event that day stirred something deep inside of me. I had found in the art of photography my creative calling. I purchased my SLR camera shortly after and it has been with me every since. My husband and I saved our pennies, and last summer quit our day jobs to travel the world together. My connection and passion for travel photography this past year has grown strong and true. I would hope to gain a sharper eye for capturing decisive moments that I could then share with others so they could experience the world through my photos. My passion, dedication, and strong desire to learn from Jason's photographic knowledge and storytelling techniques make me the right candidate for this scholarship.
