My scholarship entry - Holi, it's more than just colour

While my life has been quite heavily focussed around a technical career, I have always had a strong creative side and a deep passion for photography. From shooting and developing B&W film on my old leather bound OM-2 to getting lost in the Himalayas with two Canons wrapped around my neck, I've always loved the adventure that the camera takes me on. I briefly studied at the famous Australian Photography Studies College, but found that it was the hands on experience that I valued the most.
I left the corporate world behind a year ago and have been adventuring around the world solo taking photos and living the dream. I just spent 6 months in India and relished the time I spent learning, surrounded by professional photographers.
It is now my dream and reality to pursue a career with photography and this experience would be second to none. I'm passionate, hard working, eager to learn, adventurous, intelligent and easy going.
I am currently based in London until I decide on my next adventure and I'm hoping this is the one as I've had Greenland on my to-do list for a long time!
I look forward to working with Jason Edwards in Greenland and thanks to Nat Geo and WN for the opportunity
