Hello

I am Kaveer Rai, I am currently studying documentary photography in Bangladesh.

When I saw this scholarship I knew it I had to apply as a traveller in me always says "you haven't lived yet, if you haven't travelled enough"

I am in just couple of months away from finishing my education here in Bangladesh, this would be a great stepping stone for me to move forward in the world of photography, coming from a humble background it is never easy to fight for your dreams but i did even by giving up a decent job in advertising, my passion for photography has only grown and to make meaningful photographs has been my life since then. I photograph to make a difference If i am able to generate a tiny bit of emotion with my pictures I will consider myself successful. However to be there I need to have an opportunity and I see an opportunity right here and with your help i could make a difference. Feed my passion. Share my visuals. Here I am knocking the door of opportunity and hoping it to open with a smile.

The photo series is from the banks of river Buriganga and diversity of life around it.
