Chioggia is also known as "little Venice", in fact its structure with canals and bridges is reminiscent of the much more famous city. Compared to its older sister, it keeps a spontaneous populous and is the fishing town par excellence, with a "fishbone" urban architecture.
This is the central canal - Canal Vena (the “vena”): all the boats are out and the canal is quiet, looking like an empty street.
