Walking along the streets of Bandarbans:
We've started our journey from Chittaggong heading to the Saint Martin, the only coral Island in Bangladesh. We are the by-born citizen of the largest delta of the world but still haven't been stepped on the only coral island. My friend Imran, have a bad habit to show his stubbornness even while we are on the way to an unknown place. He wished to "taste" the pungent taste of the "Kebab" of local hill-tract. So we decided to move to the Bandarbans then go to the Saint Martin.
It was the mid of November. Winter begins and usually in Bangladesh, the winter becomes dry. Ignoring the general rule of nature, it started raining. We were surprised and cursed the Global Climate Changing. Walking along the narrow streets of Bandarbans, we set-up our plan. We are here to search exactly a kind of Kebab, locally known as "chicken chatney" or chicken sauce. It is a kind of chicken curry mostly eaten with "Parathas". A various range of Kebabs are available and eaten by the local people in this area. Last time my friend tasted it and now he is onto it, it is a mouth watering dish I knew so that I was as excited as he was.
We've found the locally specialized food shop and ordered the desired dish, YES! it is the Chicken Chutney!! The dish came to us with an appealing smell, driving us crazy for it. And Yes! It was a sensational food too. Only an artistic mind with an artistic tongue can make the taste into it and according to people's belief, a local drink can add some extra taste into it. We took the packet to eat the beloved stuff on the bank of the nearby river.
When the rain stopped we didn't notice. We walked to the small river. It was the eve of "Maghi Purnima" (Winter-Full moon). The sky was clear and the clouds were floating away. It gave the scenario a total different look. No electricity was there and we two were enjoying our most deserved meal standing under the open sky. Suddenly, our mind was covered with a spiritual devotion.
