I am a man who loved to eat, for I enjoyed the food is one gift that is so incredible that I can get. I have some favorite food, because I am from Indonesia of course my favorite food is the cuisine of Indonesia as well. For me, cooking or food is a symbol that could represent or characterize a region, because the dishes, and food is made and born of the culture corresponding to the society itself.
In Indonesia, I know that mncerminkan intimewa diverse food culture of a society, one of which is the region of Madura in East Java province. Madurese Indonesia tida like most people who like to eat rice, but they prefer to eat rice corn made. That is already happening for generations and upholds the Madurese culture with pride.

Later the character of the food that I have encountered is the flavor of dishes island of Sumatra and Java, although both are parts of Indonesia, but both have a very different flavor. Java community really liked the food very spicy while Javanese cuisine tends to prefer sweet and savory. This difference is supposedly caused by the Sumatra character tougher than the Java community who tend to be more gentle, this is why people like spicy food Sumatra.

Then I also met Maksassar city as one of the specialties that are so delicious, "Coto Maksassar" is a typical food Maksassar Maksassar representing the community character.
