My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am Jacinthe, a flower name. Pronounce it whichever way you want but this is French.
I have been pretty lucky to experience life in 3 different countries. I have started lately to travel to non-western places and it has become a passion.
Photography has been shading my life forever, my first body being a brand-new Fisher Price silver camera, a Christmas gift of the 90s for a 7 years old. I am proud to say that I grew up as a teenager with no internet.
I am also proud to say that I don't really get what is 'Instagram'.
I like to depict the world I experience faithfully and thoughtfully.
Two passions have come across: the one of travelling and the one of recording my sights and emotions. Photography is a medium to record them.
Travelling to Oman on a photography scholarship would be such a meaningful way to achieve my interests. When you are a photographer for such a great magazine what you aim for is not only a portrayal of your sensations but an objective manner to give satisfaction and enjoyment to the readership through sensitive shots.
This is exactly what I hope to learn on this scholarship: to use the
sensibility of my photography for another purpose, documenting.
