Tomé - the days of glory are long past

Everywhere I go, I photograph. Back then, when cameras were not yet ubiquitous, and my gear consisted of a simple 35mm film point-and-shoot this would only be in spirit. I would look for interesting situations, and frame compositions in my mind, I would try to see the shots even if I couln't afford to snap it.
Nowadays, the techincal part is easier, but also makes us sometimes forget that, in the end, content is much more important than any advanced techinque, any postprocessing, even than composition itself.
It is at this that the photography of National Geograhic excels: find the moment, the time and the subject that begs for inmortalization.
And that is what I want to learn from you. Please give me the opportunity.
