    Dark, mysterious, and amazing. Night time is a great time to take photos sometimes. Views[210] Abandoned traincrew carriage in a trainyard. The rustic colours against the glow of streetlights resulted in some creepy shadows, and goosebumps on my neck. Views[223] I thought there was something sinister, yet playful about the colours against shadows of this playground at night. Views[215] A marina park views of the Gladstone waterfront at night. I felt the need to put the park bench in the photo to get the feel of the loneliness of the place at night. Views[329] More from the Alumina refinery. Steam cooling, red bauxite stained tanks against blue skies, loved the colours. Views[390]
     
    Alumina refinary. Conveyor belts and tanks, a lot happening. Great feat of mans ability to construct. Views[213] Ant hill, just the way the mount was made intrigued me. Had to get a photo. Views[158] Caught this curious little skink crawling up a concrete wall in a spillway. The textures on his skin were very complimentary against the grey. Views[187] Little dragonfly playing around the ponds. Seems to have been through the wars with a bit of wing damage, but still happy. Views[215] Lilly ponds, I was fortunate enough for the local council to build these ponds at our local gardens. I can't wait to find a place with the natural harmony of these places. Views[936]
     
    The local mangroves under the shadow of the sun setting on the mountains. The colours at that time of day are incredible. Views[165] Drove out of town about an hour or two, where the dirt roads would take me. The moon was bright that night, and this tree was somewhat haunting, looming over me as I parked my car. This picture took my eye and then my cameras. Views[210] Gecko Valley Vineyards. Wallabies play, carefree. You can walk right upto them, though it's recommended that you don't. Views[143] Down at a little place called Awoonga Dam, just on the outskirts of Gladstone, Queensland Australia. Spotted this little guy roaming around the shoreline, took my eye. Views[214]
