I have ever had a vacation in Jogjakarta, Indonesia, for some days when I was in Senior High School. On the first day, my friend and I woke up at five o’clock in the morning in a hotel somewhere in Jogjakarta. I prayed first before continuing to make a cup of tea while my friends backed to sleep after praying. I enjoyed the fresh air from the fifth floor on my hotel. In front of me there was a hill which full of big green trees and I loved that atmosphere so much. At seven o’clock my friends woke up and prepared for having breakfast in the first floor. Then, I followed them after I finished bathing. In the first floor I found there were a lot of people having breakfast and chatting with their friends and families. After that at nine o’clock my friends and I went to some places near Keraton Jogjakarta. My friends took some pictures of statues which were there while I examined some statues that interested me. I also found pedicabs around the Keraton Jogjakarta. My friend and I wanted to ride a pedicab and surrounding the next place, Malioboro. At Malioboro, I found a lot of Batiks on every side of the street. Not only the batiks, but also some traditional food stalks could be found there. I walked from one store to another store and finally I found some clothes which were very cheap but the quality was good. I had never interested in Batiks before I went to Malioboro because I thought that Batiks were monotonous, but after I saw with my two eyes that there were various kinds of Batiks in Malioboro and then I began to love it. After bought some clothes, I invited my friends to try food which sold on stalks on the side of the street. I tried ‘kelepon’, one of traditional food from Jogjakarta which is from powder and coconut. It tasted very sweet because there was a red sugar inside every orb of ‘kelepon’ itself. From that moment, my life started changing to keep on trying the uniqueness of everything in every place that I have never attended.
