About cornersoftheworldmarathon
Hi, my name is Linda van Dijk. I decided that is had become time to realise my dream of traveling the world. So I resigned from my job and prepared in a record time of 3-4 weeks. Today, on 12 Feb, I am almost ready to set off; planned departure date is 25 Feb.
I didnt find the planning too tough becuase I was quite clear what I wanted.... visit the corners of the world, and that in a time span of 3-5 months. Unfortunatley due to Zika virus the Marathon is reduced to 3 out of 4 corners but in hindsight I dont mind too much because it would have been too much to do all four corners in such limited time. I guess time is always to short, and although i love to be a 'luxous horse' there is ofcourse a time where i need to become a working horse again. Without any hard feelings, I love my job.
