I'm a journalism student from Indonesia who likes adventure. I'm happy to photograph the place I go because every place has a different story. And of course, time can not be repeated, that's why I like to capture every moment and every place. A place will not hold the same as now. It will changes from time to time. That’s why, capture places and events in the photos is very important to me. I don't want to forget every time that I ever passed in my life.
I always capture the beautiful and unique place that I go with my camera. I want to tell everybody, there are places in a corner of this earth which is so beautiful and unique.
Hopefully I can be selected to participate in Travel Photography Scholarship 2010 so I can learn more about photography and I can tell everybody more places through a photo. The natural beauty of real. I disagree, if a photo on their natural beauty have changed in such a way that differs from the original. Beautiful photo is the beautiful views directly to the eye. Same as the original. That is a photos that tells the story honestly.
The photos that I offer are photographs that show a beautiful place in my country. That place is Sendang Biru beach and Sempu Island. Sempu Island is a small island in the South of Java. For Sempu Island, we have to cross from Sendang Biru beach. With motorized boats which enough for 15 peoples, we can reach the Sempu Island in 10 minutes. From the shores of the Sendang Biru, we can clearly see Sempu island. Along Sendang Biru Coast is filled with small outrigger boat, motorized passenger boat, and fishing boats.
Sempu Island is an empty island. Nobody lives there. The island is still natural and very beautiful with white sand. It was wonderful to enjoy the sunset on the Sempu Island. Beautiful and quiet.
