These photos are taken in Nepal in Jan 2011. This was the first time i had been to Nepal. Going over to Nepal from India was not a huge difference - slight changes in dialects, mannerisms (although most ppl are a lot more relaxed), culture. Going to Kathmandu was like a scene from the movies - old Buddhist temples and oriental influenced statues within the rush of the city - tight one lane streets - but yet a sense of calmness.

I am an amateur photographer who loves travelling to new places (and old) and taking thousands of pics. I enjoy mostly landscape and snaps of details - but am recently gathering more confidence in people photography. I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel to various places in India - but the list of places i would still want to see is very long. I hope that desire to travel and discover never ends...
