Over 500 supporters rallied against Kinder Morgan on this night. Many people were holding candles, and most dressed in black. This was done to mourn the death of the justice system, because the supreme court ordered an injunction that the protestors had to allow Kinder Morgan to work. The background people are standing above a coffin.

Protestors constructed a camp beside the coordinates of a proposed bore hole site. In this image, Tsoh-thoht, an indigenous woman, plays the drums after she lit the sacred fire. The sacred fire would go on to burn for just over two weeks.

After the injunction was granted, protestors did whatever they could to prevent Kinder Morgan from working. In this image, two protestors lay on the ground in front of a log they placed on the road to prevent the Kinder Morgan work truck behind the police from getting up the road. So far, over 30 people have been arrested from crossing the injunction line. The fight continues...
