My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

In the process of discovering other cultures and lifestyles I started developing my passion for photography. It hasn't been so long when I started taking my first pictures. Through the lens I soon understood my own point of view, my way of observing others. And that's what I like about photography. Specially when I am traveling around, visiting other cultures, sharing stories, realities and experiences with people and communities different from mine.

I considered to be still an amateur in photography but with a true conviction of becoming a professional. I am in the process of building up my criteria at the time of taking pictures, and I had found this process very enriching and convenient at the time for knowing myself, my instinct and my most deepest desires.

Through photography I've known the art of contemplation. I want to continue through this path, learning a little bit everyday and believing more in what I feel, nor what I am. I think photography might help me in this process, because more than a job Is a clear channel of communication between my feelings and what I observe.
