An art curator by profession, a documentary filmmaker by hobby, creative writer, and in general a storyteller. Passionate and enthusiastic with a childlike sense of adventure and wonder.
I have been lucky to travel a fair amount in my life including Peru, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Cuba, Mexico, Greece, Italy, Germany, England, Switzerland, Austria, France, USA, Canada, Ghana, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia and South Africa. For nearly 4 years I lived, worked and studied an MA degree in South Africa. I miss the place terribly and have been back 3 times to visit.
If there is a desert, a jungle, an ocean I want to be in it, on it, exploring it. I love music and spirituality. I am a fan of Classic Hollywood movies, spinning, kayaking, drive-in movies, Clint Eastwood, Seinfeld, Jean Reno, F1, aviation and fortune cookies.
In August 2015 I relocated to a small town, Smither's British Columbia, Canada. I value the sense of community here, the authentic relationships and collective admiration for nature and people. Folks in Smithers recognize that each person offers something to the community and this is nurtured and fostered.
I currenty work in a toy store and freelance as a maverick personal curator bringing art and heritage back to people in personal homes and corporate spaces. I also host a community radio show called Art Beat.
