This video encompasses my last winter in Vermont of my senior year of high school, the US Open skiing competition held at our local mountain and just hanging around with friends. A really short time frame it displays a snap shot of my life back in that moment in time.
I have limited filmmaking experience as I am more accustomed to photography but I couldn't imagine a greater chance to explore these realms then within the context of carnival!
I couldn't imagine a more amazing trip to make then to Brazil during carnival to see the colours, feathers and flying samba feet through the lens of a videocamera, the spirit of carnival is so wild and inspiring it is a pleasure to capture in it's essence. My ambition would be to push my limits and see how well I could capture carnival, it's these moments in time pieced together to get that one amazing string of shots.
