Coleman's Gap Year

Leaving Boston

USA | Thursday, 9 December 2010 | Views [368] | Comments [2]

I leave on Saturday January 8th at 1:40pm. First to Washington DC, then a short stop in Dakar and land in Johannesburg, South Africa. One more flight to Port Elizabeth, South Africa. All in all, 24 hours, 40 minutes travel time. I then spend the night in Port Elizabeth and get picked up the next day to go to the Kwantu Game Reserve - where I will spend the next 5 weeks.

Coleman,

Heard you made it safely to your first destination. We're looking forward to sharing your adventure vicariously through your postings. I gave a shot out to all the CASP families to be on the lookout for Fabio. Hope he turns up in Newton and not on the next plane out to Africa.

We just got an email from Coleman and he's at the game reserve and says he's settled in, met some nice people there and the accommodations are really quite nice. We're hoping for more details and photos soon.
