My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Worldwide | Monday, November 7, 2011 | 5 photos

My name is Chiara Rossignoli and I’m a twenty-three years old girl, who studies psychology, so nothing concerning photography.
My dad gave me this passion, teaching me very patiently using his camera, which is an old Nikon semi-automatic.
As you can see from the pictures, I’ve already been to Africa, to South Africa too, because I’m very lucky and my parents gave me the chance to travel a lot and see the world.
Although I’ve already been to Africa a few times, I still love it and every time I see it as if it was the first time.
Indeed, whenever you go to these places, you see something different; when I was looking for the pictures for the contest, I had problems choosing, because even though the animals were the same, no two shots were alike.
When I take a picture, I try to capture the feeling I have watching the scene, so that the others can feel the same I did. Sometimes I make it, other times, well…I still have to practice!
I love photography because it gives you the chance to capture a moment forever, something that lasts just a few seconds but that can live forever, and allows the people to live those feelings every time they like.
My dream is to go to see the migration of the Masai Mara, and stay there as long as possible, trying to see everything of this amazing scene.
