I’m 29 and half of my life I’ve been dancing and travelling. Irish dancing which I do for almost 13 years now, requires travelling to many competitions in different parts of the world. Visiting various lands and cities with my dancing team and my camera I caught a kind of travelling fever, started dreaming of more and more far away places I’ve never been to yet.
For me travelling is a way of rebooting the mind and emotions, feel something I’ve never felt, being a blank sheet of paper Universe can write upon. Taking pictures helps to capture those new emotions, remember feeling of freedom to go anywhere and do anything, sharing the Universe’s masterpieces through my eyes.
When I take a photo I wish everyone could see and feel they way I do at the moment. I try to inspire others to let go their problems at least for a day, abandon their office chair and do something they’ve never done, go somewhere they’ve never been, whether it’s a next door yard or other continent.
Winning this scholarship is a life changing opportunity. It can not only speed up the transfer of my hobby to a profession, but also through my photos somebody else can feel the inspiration to change the world.
