Sydney Opera House

AUSTRALIA | Friday, 3 August 2007 | Views [527]

They tell you not to miss the Opera House - at least the guide book does - and this is advice taken up by pretty much every tourist in Sydney. We went to a showing of the Barber of Seville - a show about a guy who helps another guy who fancied some girl. I think. Ourselves and a few thousand tourists, and seemingly very few locals sat through and enjoyed the performance, but in reality the real impressive thing for everyone is the Opera House itself, instantly recognisable to millions around the world and stunning when set against the amazing Harbour Bridge.
