Few Quiet Pints

AUSTRALIA | Wednesday, 18 July 2007 | Views [467] | Comments [1]

One of the thirty of so pubs (though they're all called hotels) in Balmain is Dick's, a lovely spot where you can tuck into a good Aussie steak for no more than six Euro or so, and wash it back with a few quiet pints - at least that's what we did last night. It was great to catch up with Kathrina and Barry, both of whom are in smashing form, and really are the hosts with the most.

A short stroll from Kathrina and Barry's house you get the nightime view of Sydney Harbour Bridge shown in the image above. Great stuff.

Just like home for me. A short stroll from no.25 and there's the view of Ballybough bridge. Please send me a postcard from Woolloomooloo. What a great name - my first child shall thus be called.
