Orange trees in Greece
About me. I find the task of expanding on this increasingly difficult. I also hate to admit this because it immediately implies that I have too much to say - where do I even begin - or that I have nothing to say at all: neither of which I consider to be the case.
But in the clasp of an oyster shell, here it is:I am, as we speak, a woman wanderer of the world, at the bright and bushy-tailed age of twenty-two. I quite like this what I am doing, having had my brown leather travelling sandals lead me to Brasil, a country not only of sun, beach and samba, but also of capoeira: an activity and lifestyle that, paradoxically, has become a rehabilitating obsession I doubt I will ever want my life to be without.
But I also like the sun and the beach. And cities. I love cities: enormous sizzling you'll-never-catch-up-to-me whirlwinds of cultural fusion waiting to be discovered yet never fully understood.
What I don't like: bad smells, the growing dependence of technology (particularly the new excuses of mismanagement that come with it), and being caught having an epiphany without a pen and notebook at hand. Having said this, I don't like being caught in general.
Today, I am most happy stepping out onto the sunny street with a day's worth of free time and an indulgent stretch of spare cash in my pocket. I find circumstances like this one most conducive to exploring new places. At other times, a bottle of wine, shared or simply at hand, tends to make me pretty happy too.
In real life, there is much I stand for. Social development and the pursuit of universal happiness are fields of focus I intend on impacting. As fantastical as it may sound, I'm being serious. But if there is one thing I truly believe in that would change the world, I stand for choice. All people, across gender, culture, race, religion, and financial capabilities, should have choice in the lives they choose to lead.
I could continue, but I'll leave you with the choice of finding out more. Without any obligation due, drop me an email if you like my work.
