Good day! I am Christian a twenty two year old student at the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I am a Peranakan from Singapore and come from a multi-cultural background that has piqued an avid interest in the world and people around me. Travelling and exploration have become apart of me, and I never stay in one spot for long if I can.

This scholarship would be invaluable to me and make me a much more professional and learned photographer, ready to capture the many facets of nature’s beauty in the best way possible. I have a deep passion and drive for adventure and bringing the wonders of the world to people. I believe that even the smallest discovery can make a difference in, and positively influence the way people think about life. With the skills and knowledge from this scholarship I will be better equipped to bring my message, and photographs across to people so that they can benefit from captures of the earth in crisp, emotionally charged and technically proficient depth. I truly hope to embark on this adventure and will make the best out of it to become a better travel photographer, and therein someone who can make better someone else’s day.
