As I wandered around the streets of Chicago I learned about the different things that affect people in their daily lives. When I stopped to take a picture of an interesting mural a man who lived in the neighborhood began explaining how he saw its creation. After learning that a new one was to be painted I decided to make a documentary about the creation of a mural and its affect on the people around it.
A big obstacle I encountered was dealing with the technical difficulties like transferring data, and camera malfunctions. However the hardest part of the this project was overcoming my lack of experience with films and being able to learn from my mistakes. What kept me going was knowing that I was becoming closer to my goal of being the best filmmaker
