Since trying to start a photographic career, Chris's passion for World Photography has increased infinitely. Through trips to Pakistan, Nepal, Israel and Morocco he has been given the chance to learn how to use powerful images to tell a story of people and of cultures. It is this story telling ability that he hopes to improve through the scholarship, to return better equipped to move people through photography.

Working full time in an outdoor shop not only helps significantly to make ends meet but also allows Chris time to focus on his bigger visions and dreams for life. Others often confuse his zest for adventure and travel as discontentment with life. He, however, knows that his inbuilt passions are not something that will be filled from one trip but sees photography as a life choice.

Please allow him to tug at your heartstrings with the last reason he feels he should be chosen. Chris is becoming a father for the first time this year and he plans to teach this child that if you work hard enough and put all you are into what you are passionate about then dreams can come true.
