growing up, i have always absolutely loved animals, every kind big and small, ugly and cute - not that i really think any animals are ugly because i think they are all cute in their own way. i love animals colours, shape, the way they move everything. i live for photography, ive been through some hard times and photography has always been the one thing i can turn to, i started out liking black and white, but as ive grown so has my love of colour photography, the brighter the better! plants and nature play a huge part in my happiness. these photo's ive submitted are from a trip to "Nature Land" in Nelson, NZ. they had the most beautiful birds, and their colours literally warmed my heart and made me smile, when im having a sad day there is something about animals and how they are and how they look that can always bring a smile to my face and make everything seem ok. i have always loved the idea of being able to shoot for National Geographic - travel the world and discover new animals and creatures i never knew existed, photograph their beauty and present them to the world.
