I've made my living as a graphic designer for the past 15 years, but creatively, it's photography that pushes my buttons most, something I try my hand at at every opportunity, and never more so than when I'm travelling, an obsession that drives my wife nuts as I stop to take 597 shots of the same thing to catch it from every possible angle. The opportunity to travel with and learn from a professional would be an absolute gift (and would also make my wife deliriously happy that it's not her hanging out with me and my camera, for once). I'm under no illusion that forging a new career as a travel photographer is likely to be a pipe dream for an amateur like me, but if I was given the opportunity to study under one, I'd grab whatever knowledge was on offer with both hands, in the hope of perhaps being able to one day turn my hobby into something slightly more at some stage in the future.
