About chefmsmith

Hi there,

Hungry Pilgrim? What does that mean? Am I a skirt wearing, bread breaking, amish-looking, starving woman? NO! Let me explain it to you. Merium-Webster defines "Pilgrim" as 1: one who journeys to foreign lands; wayfarer; 2: one who travels to a shrine or holy place as a devotee. I see myself as both in life - a wanderlust traveler who wants to see this world that our God created. "Hungry" pertains to my want to see more, do more, learn more, and taste the world. Comprende? Good!

Now that that is settled, let me introduce myself... my name is Mallory. I am currently traveling to South Korea to work as an English Language teacher to Elementary students. (I got World Nomad Travel Insurance as a piece of mind/back-up). I grew up in the USA in a southern state called North Carolina, raised in a small town called Statesville. I decided to get out of my small american world and get to know people born to other lands.

This little "Travel Journal" provided by World Nomad will compile all my thoughts, experiences, photos, videos, and all that jazz. If anyone is reading this... I hope you enjoy it and please don't judge me too harshly.  I'm simply living my life the best way I know how - Loving all like Jesus did. Jesus wandered the streets and traveled far and wide to get to know people and love them unrelentlessly - and so am I.
