Only road today, over 100 km, tried to take some picture but camera didnt work, battery out. Dam.

Later, got caught by the rain ( storm) find shelter under a bridge, but was already wet, well my shoes, got the ret under cover fast. Wild waiting got camera out to try, got battery out and back and tada, working.... was tired at that moment and add spot 100 meter further to sleep so well I slept

woke up surrounded by snail, yup im now in the land of the snail, they are just all over.

Been lucky today, I didnt take a wrong turn and did reach avignon. Another 100 km today. The last 20 was horrible, my butt was crying and my leg was dead. But did reach a camp site and hey they got a backpacker to. Humm expensive but a bed... took the bed, tomorrow gonna camp but I want the bed. Got me a beer and that it gonna visit avignon tomorrow!!!

Avignon

well avignon is another city that been capture by the tourisme. Its still the low season so one of the best time to see this town. Beautiful city, mostly from the camp site side. Got a large field of grace to sit, relax and look at the Rhône just in front of us with the city on the other side. Yea I went to see the pope palace, didnt get inside I just cant since that church I went in and refuse to pay for that. Didnt go on the bridge neither think to look at it from the other side or near it is enough. Save the money for a beer tonight...so yea town to see in the low season and by the way the camp site is the best on ive been in since my departure, 5,60 a night (the cheapest yet) and got everything u need there, execpt electricity but I found some near the building where I could also get internet for free ( not stable but still).

Leaving avignon

a slow start, im not in a rush. 60-70 km to make not more. 4 pm I stop already found a nice place to sleep. Nice spot to make a fire near the river, 5 pm fire already on, and wild at it there a grill that someone left there. Clean it and o wow I both some sausage, good timing grill them on it and made a couscous with the water of the river do go with them. Surprisingly 8 pm I still have wood, didnt thing to reach that late and that all ive done after diner, watch th fire going and burning. I love fire.

Next morning, I followed the cyclist route for 3 km but that was it no more. Found a sign saying it carry on further so I went that way to discover that the route was actually the country road, just large enough for one car and well that road was in the mountain....all the indication was for forcalquier but I wanted to go monosque on the other side. Look at the map, bah easy just find the d14 and im in business. Still following the indication for the cyclist route and well I discovered a bit further that I just climbed over 3 km of hill for nothing. Yep I was on the d14 but wrong way... so went back down. That was more easy, 45km/h took 3 minute to do what took me about 45min.

Once on the d907 well need to climb again but hey that mean I gonna have to go down again weee love that part : P this time dam car, was already going near 50km/h and that one was pushing me. At that speed it a bit dangerous for me with the weight its not easy to turn or break so well he want to push, I did slow down to piss him off. He add to wait a bit and finally did pass me. I got more food at manosque and went to groux les bains. Once there, I was happy to have choose this road. Once you cross the forest, you arrive at the village surrounded by nice mountain went a bit further to find the lake. Here wow, u climb 3 km, pass a barrage and found that huge lake with clear water and the mountain around it, brilliant. Fire did burn most of it few year ago, there burned tree all around and

its just starting to grow back found my place on top of the hill, if the sky can clear I gonna have a nice view on the sunset and if I can get up also will have the sunset.

Well no sunset, to cloudy. Woke up at 7 for a piss and saw the sky, dam no sunset neither. Back to bed.

Don't forget to change your "current country" to France.

Having "Spain" besides "Avignon" looks weird ;-)
